REFLECTIONS

This album is dedicated
to the famous St. Petersburg photographer, Alexsander Kitaev.

I got an access to his massive photo archive and came with an idea to make a compilation where people would reflect (or interact) in the city and vice versa.

To reinforce the viewers experience, I`ve included the poetry of Osip Mandelshtam along with a CD of classical music performed by the award-winning pianist Vladimir Mischuk.

We organized a music tour in cities where our company has offices.

This project is now a part of the Rare Edition Collection of The State Russian Museum (just bragging).

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Classics illustrated by artist Julia Bogatova.

DIALOGS

This project is about Afon friary.
It includes a set of posters and music CDs.

FRAGILE

This album is devoted to the art of Murano glass.

The hereditary maestro Massimiliano Schiavon kindly invited us to his studio. After the interview I decided to find out how Venice inspired him.

With the help of a local photographer I explored the city and took pictures of spots that could be the citation for Massimiliano`s pieces.

Inside the book we attached a DVD showcasing the process of making Murano glass.

Every book comes in a cardboard box to emphasize the fragility of this art.

MASTER`S DREAMS

This album is a dedication to the great novel of Mikhail Bulgakov - “Master and Margarita.”

For illustrations I chose gravures of Vyatcheslav Begiganov, never-before published.

Visual concept is built on Bulgakov`s phrase “manuscripts do not burn”.

ELLIPSIS

BELLA & BORIS

The book of poetry of Bella Akhmadulina and graphics
by Boris Messerer dedicated to famous Russian authors of the “Silver Age” who left their traces on St.Petersburg.
